Playing the saxophone and writing music together
since the 6th Grade, Reiner Von and Rob Mills of San Francisco,
decided to form Fidelity Bytes, realizing that their future was
in making music.
On September 10,1994, their performed in Vancouver, at an event
called Shalimar, with superstar Djs Keoki, Markie B, and a live
show by Darwin Chamber (Reiner Von's inspiration).
They continued to play at parties such as Flower Child and Cool
World events as well as at local San Francisco clubs and events
and at FutureRama, Josh Wink's first major Los Angeles performance,
and at San Diego's Ole Madrid nightclub in 1996.
D'Funk was the first track, released on Visible
Records in 1994. Some of the equipment used to write the tracks
are Doctor T's on an Amiga 500, a Roland JD800, Roland TB303,
Will Systems MAB303, Kawai XD5, Kawai K12 and Ensoniq EPS
