Sotero is a Dj, producer and remixer who has played musical instruments since he was a child including guitar, bass, drums, and piano, just put something in his hands he can learn how to play it.
After picking up on the underground vibe in the early 1990s, he bought a set of turntables and began to collect records that he heard out at nightclubs and parties. Within three to four years after picking up the "habit" he connected with Rabbit in the Moon. Between 1996 to 1998, he was the tour DJ with Rabbit in the Moon, traveling throughout North America, Amsterdam, Puerto Rico, and the Florida Keys.
He and Confucius, of Rabbit in the Moon, produced a track called "One of Us", a remix of Jane's Addiction's "Three Days" and pressed it into a piece of 12" vinyl. In addition, he has produced the tracks "Divided By Dirt" and "69" under his own label Hi-Sol Recordings as well as receiving production credits on Eric Clapton's song "RipTide."
His friends in the studio are Ensoniq, Tascam. Yamaha, ART, Mackie and Akai, and of course, Technics 1200's. With all this modern equipment and technology, he prefers to create an organic "outdoor house" sound with lots of drums and of course, great vibes.
Sotero is always traveling to raves and nightclubs throughout the U.S., playing his organic house sound. He also maintains residencies at all Pauli P events in Southern California as well as any We Are One event.
